Temperature
While temperature would usually be a consideration when deciding on the best time to travel, that’s not necessary in this case! Due to its proximity to the equator, San Andres doesn’t experience four clearly defined seasons. The temperature in San Andrés varies very little throughout the year with temperatures rarely falling below 24°F (or above 31°C). The daytime average ranges from 26°C to 30°C, with a nighttime average of around 25°C. It is said that the heat can be felt the most in September and October. Seasons in San Andres are much more characterized by rain fluctuations, with the chance of wet days varying throughout the year. Dry Season
The drier “summer” months when there is less rainfall are between January and April, with March being the driest month. These months are often a good time to visit and enjoy the beautiful beaches without worrying too much about rainstorms.Rainy Season
The rainy season is from May to December, with October generally the wettest month. Although the rainy season lasts a little over 7 months, the rainfall generally isn’t heavy or often enough that it would ruin your vacations. Rainstorms on these islands usually only last from 30 minutes to 1 hour. They may happen more frequently during the rainy season, but visitors often don’t mind too much as it can actually help lower the temperature. It’s definitely still worthwhile traveling to San Andres between May and December if that’s when you are planning to travel!PERSONALIZE A TRIP TO SAN ANDRÉS COLOMBIA
